America Gay dad, Trystan Reese becomes pregnant

A gay dad Trystan Reese who lives in Portland, Oregon, U.S., is pregnant and about to give birth after he suffered a heartbreak following a miscarriage at six weeks in 2016.

Biff Chaplow and Trystan Reese are already adoptive parents to two young children Riley and Hailey but have spoken of their delight as they prepare to welcome their first biological child.

They adopted children are Biff’s niece and nephew and the gay dads agreed to take them in after his sister suffered substance abuse problems in 2011.

But the couple had always longed for a baby of their own. They had considered waiting up to a year before trying again after the 2016 miscarriage.

But because of the medical complications of Trystan having to go off testosterone they decided to continue.

The married couple have confirmed Trystan is due to give birth in the summer.

In a post on their website, Trystan said that he felt some people are interested to know why he wanted to become pregnant as a transgender person, but were too afraid to ask.

He said that some people think “trans people were born into the wrong bodies, and we really hate our bodies, and that’s why we need to transition.”

“For me, just transitioning normally – taking testosterone so that I have a beard and my voice is deep as its ever gonna get – and appear like a man… that’s enough for me.

“I never felt like I needed to change my body.

“And I for sure do not hate my body

“I feel like my body is awesome, I feel like it’s a gift to have been born with the body that I did.

“So if you can start to understand that, then it starts to make more sense that it would not seem totally bizarre for me to want to create and carry a baby.”

Speaking to the the WNYC podcast, the Longest Shortest Time , Biff said both of them had been very “cautious” in the early stages of the pregnancy.

According to Mirror, Trystan weighed himself “obsessively” and kept taking repeated pregnancy tests.

Ahead of the six-week test, Trystan called the doctor to tell them he was a trans-dad and worried about what the experience would be like.

He said: “I can feel someone looking at my face and searching for the remnants of womanhood,” Trystan told the podcast.

“They kind of squint their eyes a little bit and I can tell they’re trying to take away my beard, they’re trying to de-transition me in their heads.”

But the pair said those fears were unfounded as they have had nothing but positivity from medics.

They now know they will be expecting a little boy and are already joking that it’s “diagnosis male”.

UK government bans lover boy Nigerian doctor

According to Mailonline, the 40-years-old Nigerian medical doctor accused of pestering his patient with love advances has been banned from practice in the UK for one year.

The Mailonline reports that Dr Chris Uzoh, the obsessive doctor had flooded a terrified patient with chat-up texts and tried to woo her with flowers.

Dr Uzoh, from Cheshire, sent her text messages after getting her number from her medical records.

The family doctor also bragged about being a ‘good-looking guy’ and spent six weeks pestering the woman to try and get a date and told her that he had ‘huge earning potential’.

He also claimed to be ‘the best in his medical school’ as well as having written ‘several well cited scientific publications’.

The General Practitioner from Great Sankey, near Warrington, Cheshire, also sent her 20 text messages.

Within 30 minutes of the appointment finishing, he texted her saying: ‘Sorry for this text message but I saw you and liked you and thought we could go on a date on the future.

‘I am single and looking for a serious relationship and not intending to mess about,’ one of the messages said.

He also left the patient a voice mail saying he wanted to ‘hear her voice before he went to work’.

Dr Uzoh later sent her another text saying: ‘I’ve been feeling like a schoolboy meeting a girl he fancied for the first time. I haven’t felt this way in a while.’

Later the woman received a card and flowers at her home along with a further message from Uzoh adding: ‘I wonder how else I would have met you if not this way.

‘My heart is pure, I care, I hope it would be possible to make you mine some day.’

The unnamed patient, who lived alone urged, Uzoh to stop pestering her but he pressed on with his chat-up lines saying: ‘I was trying to be romantic – I did not mean to be creepy. I was excited about you.’

‘How is it possible that a good looking guy who is a doctor, who has a job with huge earning potential, who was the best graduating doctor in his medical school, who started out as a urological surgeon with several well-cited scientific publications, who thinks you beautiful and special, who wants you – and you wouldn’t give him a chance? I’ve been in a Toronto and I couldn’t stop thinking about you,’ he said in another message.

The patient eventually complained to Uzoh’s colleagues at the Murdishaw Health Centre in Runcorn and he was reported to the General Medical Council.

The father of two has since quit the UK and is now working in Toronto, Canada.

At the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester, Uzoh was suspended from practise in Britain for 12 months after he was found guilty of misconduct.

The incidents began between March and May last year when the woman was booked in for an appointment with Uzoh after complaining of abdominal pain.

‘I was really shocked to get that initial message from him because I trusted him as a doctor.

‘If I got that message now there is no way I would respond. I was in a difficult position particularly at that point so seeing him taking an interest was a nice thing.

‘The next morning I woke up and there was a further text message and voicemail message.

‘I remember I was doing my make-up and getting ready for work and I saw that he was calling but I didn’t want to pick up. He left a message saying: ‘Hi, I just wanted to hear your voice before I start my day’.

‘Everyday I looked at my phone there was something from him whether it be a text message, missed call or a voicemail message.

‘As soon as I knew the flowers had been sent I knew that they would be from Dr Uzoh – there weren’t many people who knew my address at the time.

“You’re being too full on – I’ve only met you once and I was your patient!’” she said.

Tennis star, Maxime Hamou apologises for kissing female reporter on live TV

Tennis star and World No 287, Maxime Hamou has issued an apology for kissing a female reporter during a post-match interview at the French Open on Monday.

The 21-year-old from France on Wednesday was banished from the French Open by the French Tennis Federation (FTT) after he was shown live on TV grabbing broadcast reporter Maly Thomas around the neck, shoulders, and was seen forcing his lips on the reporter despite her efforts to pull away. Speaking to French newspaper l’Equipe, Hamou expressed remorse for the incident, saying he would like to apologize to Thomas in person.

'I want to offer my deepest apologies to Maly Thomas if she felt hurt or shocked by my attitude during her interview.

'I just lived a wonderful week here in Roland Garros living my most beautiful emotions as a tennis player, and I let my overflow of enthusiasm express myself awkwardly towards Maly, who I know and sincerely respect. Nothing of all that is written was my intention.

“I am at her disposal to apologise to her in person if she so wishes. I learn every day from my mistakes to become a better tennis player and a better person.”

Eurosport’s tennis correspondent Henri Leconte also apologized for applauding Maxime Hamou unwanted advances towards Maly Thomas when it was shown on Eurosport show 'Avantage Leconte'.

I wanted to go back to the incident last night concerning the duplex with our reporter Maly Thomas and the player Maxime Hamou.I want to make it clear that we do not endorse this type of behavior. Maly is a great professional who deserves an apology,” said the former grand slam winner.

'Our live response was also not appropriate, we should have intervened quickly. We apologise to our viewers,' he added.

North Korea Releases Its Own 'IPad' which contains 40 Apps only

A North Korean tech company has launched its own tablet computer, called the "Ryonghung iPad."
Despite the similarities in name, the tablet doesn't have much in common with Apple's well-known gadget .

According to an advertising campaign spotted in a foreign trade magazine, the North Korean iPad only has 40 apps to choose from and 8GB of internal storage space.

However, it will allow users to look at documents and "read different sources of digital information" as well as coming with a keyboard attachment.


According to the advertising campaign, the tablet was first revealed at a North Korean expo in 2016 and has become massively popular among North Koreans.

Among the apps are a calculator, a dictionary and a farming app. There is also an app that comes on an SD card that can "diagnose up to 1,200 ailments."

It's unlikely the company behind the tablet, Myohyang IT, will be attempting to market the Ryonghung iPad outside of North Korea.

Ariana Grande will return to Manchester with ex-military security squad

Ariana Grande will reportedly return to Manchester with ‘a top of the line security squad’ made up of ex-military personnel.

The 23-year-old singer was caught up in the terrifying terror attack that rocked the Manchester Arena on Monday May 22 when a suicide bomber targeted the foyer as Grande’s concert ended; 22 people have died.

Following the attack Grande postponed the rest of her European tour, and later revealed she would hold a benefit concert which would also include performances from Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Usher, Katy Perry and Niall Horan.

However the young singer was left understandably shaken by the ordeal, and a source close to the singer has admitted that ‘Ariana’s new security team consists of ex-military and is said to be the best in the business’.

Speaking to Radar Online they added: ‘She is going to have 24-hour surveillance from now on, no matter what the cost is.’

The One Love Manchester Benefit Concert will take place at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Sunday June 4 to raise money for the victims of the Manchester terror attack and their families; proceeds will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which was set up by the Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross to aid the families of the victims, and those who were at the concert on May 22 will get their tickets for free.

According to People magazine the singer, 23, was ‘absolutely crushed and devastated’ by the incident.

A source said: ‘It’s so, so sad. She loves her fans and is absolutely crushed and devastated as you can imagine. She can’t believe this happened. She just wants to be with her family and loved ones right now.’

JUST IN: EU and China rebuff Trump on climate

Chinese and EU leaders are to agree a joint statement on the Paris climate agreement saying it is "an imperative more important than ever".

A draft of the document, seen by the BBC, stresses the "highest political commitment" to implement the deal.

It will be widely seen as a rebuff to the US, as President Trump prepares to announce on Thursday if the US is withdrawing from the accord.

The joint statement will be published on Friday after a summit in Brussels.

For more than a year, Chinese and EU officials have been working behind the scenes to agree a joint statement on climate change and clean energy.

The document highlights the dangers posed by rising temperatures, "as a national security issue and multiplying factor of social and political fragility," while pointing out that the transition to clean energy creates jobs and economic growth.

"The EU and China consider the Paris agreement as an historic achievement further accelerating the irreversible global low greenhouse gas emission and climate resilient development," the draft document says.

"The Paris Agreement is proof that with shared political will and mutual trust, multilateralism can succeed in building fair and effective solutions to the most critical global problems of our time. The EU and China underline their highest political commitment to the effective implementation of the Paris Agreement in all its aspects."

Both sides say they will step up action to and "forge ahead with further policies and measures" to implement their national plans on cutting carbon. Significantly, both the EU and China agree that they will outline their long term low carbon strategies by 2020.

Airstrike kills 10 Philippines soldiers in Marawi

BREAKING NEWS - Ten soldiers have been killed by a government airstrike in the embattled city of Marawi in the Philippines.

Eight soldiers were also wounded in the "friendly fire" incident on Wednesday, said defence secretary Delfin Lorenzana, expressing remorse.

Over the last week militants allied to the so-called Islamic State have engaged in street battles with the army leaving more than 100 people dead.

It was sparked by the attempted capture of a top militant leader by the army.

SAUDI ARABIA SCHOOL SHOOTING: Two confirmed dead

Reports confirmed it that two people were killed and another injured when a man opened fire inside a private school's administration building in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, but no students were present, the head of the school told Reuters.

The shooting was "a case of a disgruntled employee," said Talal al-Maiman, CEO of Kingdom Holding and chairman of Kingdom Schools, which operated the school.

"It is with regret that the administration building of Kingdom Schools witnessed this morning a shooting incident by an Arab national who was dismissed from the school four years ago on the basis of anger issues and an unstable personality.

The victims were a Saudi national and a Palestinian national, he said, and the situation at the school was contained as of mid-afternoon.

The school had been closed about a week before the Ramadan holiday, in line with a royal decree.
The holiday began on Saturday. Police cars could be seen at the school campus, but the scene was otherwise quiet.

An Interior Ministry spokesman said it was a "criminal case" and that Riyadh Police would issue a statement with further details.

Kingdom Schools is owned and operated by Kingdom Holdings, a company of Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. It is situated in northern Riyadh.

Maiman said the school's private security guards followed established procedures until the case was handed over to government authorities.

TODAY: Pope Francis appoints Dechelem as Bishop of Bauchi Diocese

Pope Francis has appointed Rev. Fr Hilary Dechelem, parish priest of Church of Immaculate Conception Upper hill, Makurdi as Bishop of Bauchi Diocese.

Rev. Fr Ralph Madu, General Secretary, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abuja announced this in a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The ordination date for the Bishop-elect is yet to be announced.
Dechelem was born on June 3, 1966 in the former Benue Plateau State.

Madu informed that Dechelem is a native of Moeda–Kwalla from Kwampan Plateau and attended L.E.A Primary School, Kabala, St Catherine’s Makurdi and Central Primary School, Awe, Nassarawa State respectively.

Dechelem had his Secondary Education at St Peters College Toto, St John Bosco, Doma and Government Secondary School Obi all in Nassarawa State.

The Claretian Missionaries admitted him in 1986 at Nekede Owerri for Petulancy, had his first Religious Profession in 1988 at Utonkon, Benue and Final Religious Profession in 1993 at Maryland, Nekede, Owerri.

The Bishop-elect was ordained priest in 1995 at Kwa Parish, Jos Archdiocese, had Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Claretian Institute of Philosophy in 1990, an affiliate of the Pontifical Urban University, Rome.

He had a Master’s Degree in theology from Spiritan International School of Theology, Attakwu, Enugu in 1995 an affiliate of Duquesne University Pittsburg Pennsylvania, U.S.

He also had a Master’s Degree in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University Omaha, Nebraska, U.S, and a Certificate Course in Spiritual Direction from Creighton University in 2014.

He Studied Masters in Business Administration and Project Management Technology at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo.

He is presently doing his doctorate degree in Policy Analysis and Public Administration at the University of Abuja.

He worked as Bursar and part time lecturer 1995 at the Claratian Institute of Philosophy, Nekede and was elected in the Provincial Council as Consulter of Economy 1999 and Consulter of Spirituality, 2005.

The Bishop-elect was a member of the General Economic Council (GEC) of the Claretian Congregation in Rome 2003 to 2006.

Labour's secret plan to open doors to Britain even wider: Corbyn adviser's proposal to let in tens of thousands more migrants is exposed

Labour has drawn up secret plans to throw open Britain’s doors to thousands of unskilled migrants after Brexit.

An internal policy document leaked to the Daily Mail reveals the party is considering introducing a visa for migrants seeking ‘low-skilled, unskilled or seasonal work’.
The document, drawn up this month by Jeremy Corbyn’s domestic policy adviser, Lachlan Stuart, also proposes axing rules which limit foreign spouses living here unless they can show they will not be a ‘burden’ on the taxpayer.

Labour’s manifesto made no mention of a plan to allow in more unskilled migrants. Mr Corbyn has repeatedly refused to say whether he thinks immigration levels are too high. It came on a day of chaos for Labour in which:

Mr Corbyn suffered another ‘car-crash’ interview on the BBC’s Woman’s Hour show in which he was unable to say how much his flagship childcare policy would cost;

The Labour leader was forced to apologise after his supporters bombarded presenter Emma Barnett with vile anti-Semitic abuse, on the day he was launching the party’s policy to tackle anti-Semitism;

Mr Corbyn, who has always opposed a cap on migration, said on Monday that immigration would ‘probably’ come down under Labour, but added: ‘Don’t hold me to that.’

The Indigenous People of Biafra on Tuesday appraised the level of compliance with its sit-at-home order and described it as a huge success.

A statement made available to one of our correspondents in Awka, the Anambra State capital, by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said apart from Nigeria, the order was observed in no fewer than 75 countries.

Powerful gave the names of the countries where the order was complied with as Taiwan, Chad, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Angola, Congo DRC, Mozambique, Luxembourg, Brazil, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, St. Kitts, Canada, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, France.

Others were Germany, Austria, Finland, South Africa, Togo, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Benin Republic, Gabon, Cape Verde, Madagascar, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Greece, Pakistan, India,  Trinidad and Tobago, Israel, Italy, Argentina, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Sao Tome and Principe, Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Namibia, Niger Republic,  Tunisia, Algeria and Cape Verde.

His statement read in part, “The Indigenous People of Biafra and its leadership worldwide congratulate Biafrans and all the IPOB family members worldwide both in Biafra land and in the Diaspora for their compliance with the sit-at-home order issued by our indefatigable leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu issued this sit-at-home order when he was still in Kuje Prison, Abuja, and it has come to pass; all the people of Biafra both home and abroad complied in all totality. This had not been done in the history of Biafra struggle before.

“We also blame those saboteurs who were paid by the government to sabotage the restoration project because today Biafrans and IPOB members worldwide obeyed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We, IPOB, must be strong and we promise everybody that Biafra is here.”

But our correspondent observed that the exercise recorded partial success in Anambra State.

The Hausa market located in Dike Park at the heart of Awka, the state capital, was closed even as banks, schools and other major markets were closed.

Despite the order, a few commercial vehicles operated along the Old Awka-Onitsha Road.

Vehicular movement was paralysed in major cities of Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka and Ekwulobia.

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr Sam Okaula, said in a telephone chat that the exercise was peaceful.

Enugu: MASSOB rates sit-at-home protest huge success

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra has declared Tuesday’s sit-at-home protest as a ‘huge success’.

MASSOB claimed that the success of the exercise was an indication that, should a referendum be conducted in Biafra areas, the people would vote to secede from Nigeria.

“The huge success achieved in today’s sit-at-home exercise is marvelous and glorious because the Almighty God approved our programme for the commemoration of the golden jubilee of the declaration of Biafra by ‘General’ Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

“The huge success is evident that the coming Biafra referendum shall be a walkover against the Nigerian state,” MASSOB leader, Uchnna Madu, said in a statement, on Tuesday.

He dedicated the huge success to schoolchildren, commercial bus drivers, motorcyclists, tricycle drivers and corporate firms that complied with the sit-at-home exercise.

Ebonyi records partial compliance

In Ebonyi, the sit-at-home order to honour Biafra’s fallen heroes, who died during the Civil War between 1967 and 1970, was partially complied with by residents of Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, and other neighboring towns in the state.

One of our correspondents reported that economic and commercial activities, including vehicular movements were witnessed in the state during the exercise.

As early as 4am, the state capital witnessed a heavy presence of armed security operatives, who patrolled the town with vehicles. Helicopters were also used for surveillance.

As the day broke, economic activities gradually gathered momentum with residents trooping out of their houses for their places of work.

Shops, which were initially locked, opened up for commercial activities in the capital.

Two popular markets in the city,  Abakpa Market and Kpirikpiri Market, opened for commercial activities.

Also, a visit to some schools in Abakaliki showed that academic activities were ongoing while motor parks were opened for commercial activities.

A bank customer, who preferred anonymity, told one of our correspondents that he was glad that the banks opened for transactions, stating that anything otherwise would have brought hardship on the people.

JUST IN: Vampire bats attack, feast on humans in Brazil

Vampire bats have sparked panic in north east Brazil, where they have started feasting on humans, leaving one man dead and more than 40 people being treated for rabies.

Health chiefs confirmed farmer Edivalson Francisco Souza, 46, died in March more than a week after he was bitten on the foot by a rabies-carrying vampire bat.

Within days of his death – the first recorded case of human rabies transmitted by a bat in Brazil since 2004 – dozens of people in the region reported being bitten by the winged mammals in their own homes, they said.

The spate of attacks, the most significant ever registered in the region, is being attributed to a rise in the bat population nesting close to humans after their homes in caves and forestry were destroyed.

In response, disease control teams from Bahia state health authority (SESAB) have started culling the creatures by catching them and applying a venom paste to their bodies.

Mr Souza was milking a cow on a farm in Paramirim when he accidentally stepped on a rabies-carrying bat that bit his foot.

He dismissed the incident and washed the wound but failed to see a doctor.

Three weeks later, after spending seven days in hospital, suffering from headaches, nausea, severe anxiety and shortness of breath, he recalled the incident.

He tested positive for rabies, but it was too late for doctors to administer the vaccine and he passed away shortly afterwards in March this year.

Within days of Mr Souza’s death, residents in city of Salvador, 400 miles from Paramirim, reported a flurry of attacks by the blood-thirsty creatures that appear to have added human blood to their menu.

Over the past three months, dozens of people have told of being terrorised by the flying mammals at night.

Many said they had woken up to the distressing sight of their bed sheets soaked in blood after bats had sunk their fangs into their toes, heels and elbows.

MANCHESTER BOMBING NEWS UPDATE

The Chief Executive of the UK’s police and crime commissioners, Nazir Afzal, has resigned.

Mr Afzal announced the resignation on his Twitter account, saying he would not be “saying anything publicly”.

But the BBC has claimed his departure is connected to a “row over media coverage of terror attacks”.

On the day of the horrific Manchester Arena explosion which claimed the lives of 22 innocent people, Mr Afzal tweeted: “Manchester is my home now & my heart breaks for those who lives were taken by deluded narcissistic criminals who will never divide or defeat us.

The following day, Mr Afzal tweeted: “I prosecuted terrorists of all motivations. They’re not soldiers. They’re sad narcissists- thinking the world owes them. We owe them nothing.”

And posting a photo of Manchester city centre, he added: “Terrorists want us to change our lives because of them.

“They lose when we don’t.”

According to Mirror, Nazir Afzal was Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England from 2011 to 2015.

He led teams responsible for some of the highest profile cases in the country, including the child grooming case in Rochdale and the prosecution of Stuart Hall.

He became the first Muslim to be appointed to such a position and was Britain’s most senior lawyer within the Crown Prosecution Service.

Mr Afzal had joined the Crown Prosecution Service in 1991 and was the operational and policy lead for child abuse, hate crime including disability, violence against women and honour-based violence.

A kung fu master who dragged seven cars with his penis has become a new world record holder by towing a helicopter even further with his manhood.

Several hundred people as well as official adjudicators watched as Ye Hongwei, who goes by the stage name “Ye Wei”, towed the heavy military helicopter with a rope tied around his genitals.

Footage of the incredible feat shows him stuttering at first, unable to get the momentum needed to get the aircraft’s wheels rolling on the tarmac outside the hangar.

But he eventually summons the inner strength necessary to drag the helicopter over 10 metres (32 feet 9 inches) – beating his intended target of 8 metres (26 feet 3 inches).

He was then given his world record certificate by officials representing the World Record Academy.

Ye is from the city of Zibo in East China’s Shandong Province, where he has been practicing “zen tai chi” for over 30 years, but the feat was conducted in Fangshan District in Chinese capital Beijing.

Penis in action

Speaking after his successful attempt, Ye Wei said: “I don’t know why I struggled in the beginning. I felt a bit nervous and unsure.

“But I mustered up the energy needed and started the helicopter moving.”

He added proudly: “I will continue practicing so I can break new records in the future.”

In April, Ye towed seven Audis weighing 12.6 tonnes using his manhood, dragging the vehicles for a total of 8 metres (26 feet 3 inches).

That attempt broke his previous record of pulling five cars.

A military officer with the (5BN) at Burma Camp in Accra was on Monday, May 29th, lynched by residents of Denkyira Boaso of the Central region who mistook him for an armed robber.

Captain Maxwell Mahama who is commander of a military detachment in the area was jogging along the Denkyira Boaso-Diaso road when he asked some women for direction. He was not in a uniform.

The women reportedly called the Assembly man who organized the youths of the town to lynch him. They later burnt his body.

Meanwhile, Ghana Armed Forces have commenced investigations into the murder. The incident has sent heightened anxiety within the town after the perpetrators of the heinous crime realised the deceased was a military man on official duty.


The Armed Forces in a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations, Col. Aggrey-Quarshie said a fact-finding team led by the Chief of Army Staff is proceeding to the area to gather more information about the development.
"A high-powered fact-finding team led by the Chief of the Army Staff is proceeding to the scene of the incident to ascertain the facts of the case."
He said they were collaborating with the police and other security agencies to bring perpetrators to book.
“GAF is working closely with the police and other security agencies to unravel the full facts of the case.”
According to the Armed Forces, its “Initial report indicates the officer was lynched by locals of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region whilst he was jogging at about 08.30 am on Monday 29 May 2017, under circumstances yet to be verified.”
"The officer was the detachment commander of our troops on operational duties in the general area."The Armed Forces has also urged its personnel to remain calm as the due procedure is taken to bring the perpetrators to book.

US President Donald Trump's communications director resigns

The White House on Tuesday said communications director Mike Dubke has resigned, the first in what is expected to be a series of moves to shake up Donald Trump’s press team.

Dubke, 47, occupied the high-powered but low-profile, post for three crisis-filled months. “I can confirm that Dubke has resigned,” an official told AFP.

No date for his departure, which has been in the works for almost two weeks, has been announced.

For months rumors have echoed around the West Wing about Trump being poised to fire his public relations staff en masse.

Many come from the Republican Party establishment and have been uneasy allies with the president.

Trump has privately and publicly expressed fury over a litany of bad headlines, lashing out at reporters, alleged “fake news” headlines and staff.

The president’s failure to pass significant legislation, legal challenges to his executive orders and a rolling scandal over his inner circle’s ties with Russia have hobbled his young administration.

That has put the future of press secretary Sean Spicer and his staff into doubt.

Although the White House communications director is a much less recognizable figure than Spicer, they are usually major players — defining how the West Wing communicates and shaping the media agenda.

During Barack Obama’s administration top aide and confidant Dan Pfeiffer held the post.

Teenage boy hangs himself after he forgot to take his satchel to school

Suicide on the increase. A pathetic story of a boy hanged himself in his bedroom when he feared he would get a 'red' mark against his name for forgetting to take his satchel to school.

Teenage boy, Tyrese Glasgow, 12, returned to his home in Mossley, Greater Manchester, after realising on the school run that he did not have his text books with him.

But when he got back home, Tyrese - who 'hated getting into trouble -discovered he had misplaced his door key and was unable to get into the property.

When he eventually got into the house, Tyrese ran upstairs into his bedroom. When he did not turn up for lessons, the school rang his mother, who found her son hanging from his bedroom door.

Before his death, Tyrese had been awarded 'star of the term' award at the 1,300 pupil Saddleworth School in Oldham.

The teenager had also been given high 'green' grades by teachers under a scheme for good behaviour.

But, at an inquest into his death, his mother Katy Cross, 32, said the youngster feared he would be given a 'red' mark for arriving at school without his bag.

Miss Cross, who was dropping her son off at school when he realised he had forgotten his things, told the Stockport hearing: 'I told him to go and get it and come back straight away and go back to school.

'It would have taken him ten to 14 minutes and, if he had done exactly that, he would have been on time.

'He just didn't want to go without his bag because he would have been graded "red" for forgetting his books.'

Miss Cross added that she thought her son had a door key, but that the school later contacted her at work to say Tyrese had not showed up.

'I started ringing him and messaging him and I thought he was just ignoring me because he had been caught out,' she said.

I spoke to my partner Brian and asked him to go home to check on Tyrese. When I got home, I shouted him and there was no answer.

'I shouted him again and started walking up and that's when I darted into his room.'

Miss Cross and her partner tried to revive Tyrese but he was pronounced dead in Tameside Hospital. A post mortem examination confirmed he died from asphyxiation.

The teenager missing front door key was later discovered under the handbrake of her car.

UK Police arrest wannabe pilot in new terror raid as Manchester attack probe widens

A wannabe pilot was today held by anti-terror police probing the Manchester Arena massacre.

A 23-year-old Libyan named locally as Alaedeen Sicri, also known as Ala Zakry, is the 16th person held in connection with last Monday’s suicide bomb attack.

The latest arrest came as new CCTV footage of evil killer Salman Abedi was released showing him shopping at a convenience store just hours before he blasted 22 people to death at a gig.

Sicri is thought to have arrived in Britain around five years ago. He enrolled at a flight school near his flat in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, more than 250 miles from Manchester. He was held in a dramatic early-hours swoop.

Charlie Foss, 22, and his pregnant ­girlfriend were house-sitting the flat next door when armed police arrived.

He said: “I woke up about one or two after I heard screaming and shouting.”

Sicri, who is said to have struggled to find airline work after qualifying as a pilot, was most recently running a Libyan e-commerce website from his flat.

He stayed with Jennifer Crump, 65, and husband John, 70, for more than three years before moving out to live with his western girlfriend.

Jennifer insisted Sicri never showed any signs of extremism. She said: “Every morning he’d leave looking really smart in his pilot’s uniform.

“He prayed every day, but he was never outwardly religious, there was nothing that rang any alarm bells.
