Ariel Winter Blasts Donald Trump and His Body Shaming Comments

Ariel Winter will not stand for Donald Trump and his disgusting comments about women’s bodies.

“I think it’s really disappointing that we’ve made so many strides towards promoting body positivity for women ― and for men ― and for empowering women, and he really kind of just tears it all down,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I think it’s really disappointing that he’s made it this far ― that he is a presidential candidate, and this is possibly the person who will be representing the United States.”

The Modern Family star knows a thing or two about being body shamed. To this day, she has to deal with people criticizing her curves on social media.

However, she’s not the first female celebrity to speak out against Republican nominee’s lewd comments about women’s bodies. In a now-infamous Access Hollywood video from 2005, Trump can be heard telling Billy Bush his fame allows him to “grab women by the p–y.”
